Mrs. SPSP Weerasinghe

With a robust academic background and a deep passion for student well-being, Ms. S.P.S.P. Weerasinghe is dedicated to supporting university students in their daily challenges. As a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Languages, Faculty of Social Sciences and Languages, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, she has worked closely with undergraduates for ten years, guiding them academically and personally. Funded by the AHEAD project, Ms. Weerasinghe pursued a Higher Diploma in Counseling Psychology (HDCP) at the Institute of Human Resource Advancement, University of Colombo. This one-year program provided her with essential counseling knowledge and practical skills, allowing her to support students in diverse counseling settings effectively.
