Mr. WMVD Chathuranga

WMVD Chathuranga is a Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medalist for the Student of the Year Award (2022 General Convocation) and works in the Department of Sports Sciences and Physical Education, Faculty of Applied Sciences. With extensive experience in balancing education, sports, and extracurricular activities, he is committed to mentoring students, helping them overcome challenges, and guiding them toward both academic and personal excellence. As a national-level Clean Sport Educator and Psychological Counselor, he specializes in drug-free sports education, well-being, and mental resilience. He has also received specialized training in drug abuse management, further enhancing his ability to support individuals in maintaining a healthy and energetic environment.
